The Live

On Saturday evening, we're delighted to welcome Claire Judd on vocals and Eric Sauviat on guitar for a 100% pure Blues live show: an exceptional duo!

Claire, originally from Bristol, England, has lived in France for many years. She formed her first Blues band in the Parisian Blues Club Utopia Café Concerts. She has shared the stage on several occasions with renowned musicians such as Jean Jacques Milteau, Basile Leroux and Benoit Blue Boy. Her energy is infectious, and she really lives the Blues she sings! She'll thrill your world!

Eric has been playing the Blues in Parisian cafés since he was 20! Self-taught, he travels from clubs to festivals, and has worked with artists such as Zachary Richard and Isabelle Boulay. Eric is passionate about Blues, Rock and Soul. He puts all this passion into his playing, and will sweep you away with his virtuosity and interpretations!

Activities

Members of the Blue'z & Heart association or friends of the association are happy to share their expertise in other disciplines or their knowledge with you :-) A fun way to share and discover other aspects of yourself or of Paris!

All you have to do is choose one of the 2 activities on offer.

Visit in Paris (15 participants max)

Cathy knows Paris! She'll be taking you on a little tour of our beautiful city of Paris, passing through some of the little passages she knows best. And maybe there'll be a few stops in atypical places for a little outdoor dancing ;-) A quiet and original way to discover Paris in a different way, and meet the other exchange participants.
The meeting point will be announced shortly before D-day.

Blues dance workshop

We're lucky to welcome Khoa and Lucie for a Blues dance workshop. This workshop is aimed at non-beginner dancers. We don't yet know whether it will be solo or couple dancing... We'll keep you posted. But Lucie and Khoa always have more than one trick up their sleeves when it comes to passing on more and more Blues finesse :-)
This workshop will take place at the CEASC: you'll be right on the spot for the rest of the afternoon.

Remarks

- Water, syrups and a few treats will be available on Friday and Saturday evenings. If you've got an eco-cup, that's great. On Sunday and during the day, bring your own bottle of water (filled).

- All rooms will have parquet floors, so please come dancing with dancing shoes (no pointed heels) or socks.

- During outdoor activities (picnics, dancing...), a cable will be available for attaching backpacks. Bring your own padlock.

- For the dance moments, we prefer slow tempos (although there will be a few fast blues ;-)). Our programming for DJ sets is around 50% traditional and 50% fusion. The live sets are 100% traditional blues.
